About Art Camp
We're thrilled to welcome you to Art Camp's very first season! After much anticipation, 2025 marks the launch of our creative vision, and we couldn't be more excited to call the historic Beach House at Crystal Beach our home. This beautiful waterfront setting provides the perfect backdrop for our inaugural summer of artistic exploration and growth. We look forward to beginning this creative journey with you!
Meet Instructor - Aaron Osborn
Art Camp is led by Aaron Osborn, a dedicated art educator and community member passionate about fostering creativity in young minds. As a 3D Art teacher at Pinellas Park High School and father of two sons in the Pinellas County school system, Aaron brings both professional expertise and parental understanding to every Art Camp session.
Aaron's journey in art and education began at the prestigious Rhode Island School of Design, where he developed a strong foundation in creative thinking and artistic techniques. His passion for teaching and community service led him to Guatemala in his 20s, where he devoted himself to teaching art and organizing creative camps for orphaned children through non-profit organizations. These formative experiences shaped his approach to art education, emphasizing how creativity can build confidence, develop problem-solving skills, and create meaningful connections across cultural and social boundaries.
Now firmly rooted in the Crystal Beach community, Aaron is delighted to bring his diverse experience and passion for art education to local families through Art Camp. He has carefully designed each session to help children develop artistic skills, environmental awareness, and creative confidence in a supportive, fun environment.
Our Art Camp Philosophy
At Art Camp, we believe that summer is a precious time for exploration and growth. Our program goes beyond traditional childcare by creating meaningful, hands-on experiences that nurture each child's natural creativity and curiosity. Through a thoughtfully designed curriculum that includes everything from found object sculpture to comic book creation, campers develop both artistic skills and important life capabilities like problem-solving, environmental stewardship, and collaborative thinking.
Located in the historic Beach House in beautiful Crystal Beach with easy access to the waterfront and Live Oak Park, our camp provides the perfect setting for creative discovery. Small group sizes ensure that every young artist receives individual attention and encouragement.
Aaron's background in professional art education ensures that campers learn proper techniques and creative approaches, while his experience as a parent and community member helps create a camp atmosphere that's as nurturing as it is educational.
Join us this summer to help your child make meaningful memories, develop valuable skills, and get the most out of their vacation while having incredible fun!
